Payroll Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Page Personnel Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and accurately enter payroll data from start to finish.
  • Reconcile payroll to client data, obtain client approval as necessary, and issue payroll reports and payslips.
  • Prepare payroll journals and reconcile weekly and monthly PAYE figures.
  • Administer Pension Auto-enrolment and handle client and HMRC queries effectively.

Requirements:

  • Excellent numeracy skills and thorough knowledge of payroll-related legislation.
  • Ability to manually calculate payroll results and explain calculations to clients.
  • Good understanding of pension schemes and rules.
  • Proactive, hands-on team player with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of computerised payroll software.

What We Offer:

£30-32,000 salary and a dynamic work environment.
