Wildcat HUMS Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Wildcat HUMS support through control of the Vibration Health Usage Centre (VHUC). This includes provision of level 2 advice to Wildcat squadrons, LWPT, and engineering management on Wildcat HUMS aircraft health, transmission vibration monitoring, aircraft vibration, and RTB diagnostic matters.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing level 2 advice on Wildcat HUMS aircraft health, transmission vibration monitoring, aircraft vibration, and RTB diagnostic matters.
• Reporting potential vibration issues to engineering management.
• Maintaining and controlling Wildcat aircraft vibration histories.
• Liaising with VA agencies, LWPT, and industry for Wildcat aircraft.
• Processing and passing Wildcat annual cockpit voice and flight data recording downloads to a nominated body.
• Notifying engineering management of inconsistencies or inaccuracies in VA equipment or software.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified to at least ONC in aeronautical engineering with experience in military aviation engineering.
• HUMS courses completed, including HUMS Awareness, HUMS Admin, and HUMS Analysis.
• A full understanding of Military aircraft engineering and documentation.
• A full understanding of Military aircraft operation in base and field locations.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. Estimated salary range based on job title, job description, and location. Please note that this is an estimate and actual salary may vary based on factors such as company budget, location, and individual qualifications.
