Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive maintenance strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead capital project management, including planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure timely delivery and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation and EH&S policies, prioritizing team member health and safety.
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance maintenance system performance.
  • Promote and embed best practices across all engineering disciplines.
  • Provide dynamic leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline or minimum NVQ Level 5.
  • A proven background in manufacturing and maintenance environments.
  • Strong experience in managing engineering teams, with the ability to inspire and build positive relationships.
  • Highly organized, computer literate, and proficient in project management.
  • A strong understanding of PUWER and LOLER regulations, with comprehensive technical expertise.
About This Opportunity:

This Engineering Manager position offers a unique chance to drive performance improvements and lead a team of 40 employees in a well-established Manufacturing business based in East Yorkshire. The successful candidate will report directly to the Ops Director and work collaboratively with a dedicated operations team to achieve exceptional results.

Salary and Benefits:
