Transportation Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our forward-thinking and collaborative team as a Transportation Strategist. As a key member of our Transport Department, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of specialists across services, working closely with colleagues across Environment, Public Realm, Capital Projects, Highways, Parking, and the Economy department.

• Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with the Council's priorities and ambitions.
• Lead the way in exploring opportunities for pilot schemes and achieving the Council's goals while ensuring good governance, monitoring, quality assurance, and delivery.
• Build long-term relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders to ensure the Council's aspirations are realized.
• Shape the future priorities for place and infrastructure through policy making, scheme conception, and sponsoring major scheme delivery within a multidisciplinary and challenging context.
