Advanced Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join our team in the sub-specialism of Haemophilia, working in collaboration with Advanced Practice and Consultant colleagues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of specialist clinical assessment and treatment of adult and paediatric patients with haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders registered at Kent Haemophilia Centre.
Kent Haemophilia Centre is a Comprehensive Care Centre recognised by the Department of Health, covering a wide geographical area including Kent and parts of East Sussex.
The physiotherapist will contribute to and lead on research projects and national research trials in the field, offering extended scope skills including performing point-of-care ultrasound and being a member of the Haemophilia Chartered Physiotherapists' Association (HCPA).
Main Responsibilities- To deliver a high-quality, patient-centred and sustainable Musculoskeletal Service for children and adults with haemophilia in East Kent.
- To facilitate the development and expansion of Musculoskeletal Therapy services within East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
- To act as a resource providing expert professional opinion to Therapy staff, Medical staff, and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team within the trust and the wider health economy.
- To provide an advanced level of practice in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral through Outpatient Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic Clinics.
- To be a professional leader and a role model for excellence in Paediatric Musculoskeletal care across East Kent.

Person Specification- Evidence of substantial clinical experience in Paediatric/Adult/Haem MSK.
- Advanced practice physiotherapy experience.
- Prescriber/Injection therapy/Diagnostic ultrasound.
- MSc.
- Diploma or Degree.
- Evidence of CPD in Paed MSK/General MSK or Haemophilia.
