Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Kendal, Cumbria

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays

Contract Type: Full-time

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager in Kendal. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and employee development.
  • Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards.
  • Inspire and motivate staff to achieve their best, providing coaching and guidance to help them grow in their roles.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, improving customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
