Clinical Director for Primary and Community Care

This is a 12-month Maternity Cover opportunity to lead our Primary and Community Care services in Cambridge and Peterborough. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for managing a team focused on delivering high-quality healthcare services to the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Attend commissioning meetings to update on progress and collaborate with our partners to provide the best possible information for decision-making.
- Work to achieve contract aims of 'Meeting people where they are to maximise engagement in all eligible groups, and targeted working with those with greatest need and highest risk of obesity.'
- Collaborate with local professionals to raise awareness of services and increase referrals into our service.
- Work with communities to gather insightful data about what matters to them, their barriers, and strengths, and what they already do that naturally keeps them healthy.
- Contribute to the Child Weight Management Task Force.
- Attend local events and networking meetings to promote services and identify services available to signpost and refer participants to.
- Support management to develop pathways with local stakeholders.
- Analyse referral data and produce monthly progress reports.
- Work with the Behavioural Insights Manager to help iterate our approach to meet the needs of people (professionals and the public).
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, data protection, etc.
- Responsible for managing and developing a team to achieve performance.
- Experience of working in a public health environment or good understanding of the issue around maintaining a healthy lifestyle is desirable.
- Experience of managing and delivering key performance indicators.
- Experience of analysing data and producing reports.
- Experience of working with and building relationships with partnership organisations.
- Experience of project management.
- Able to travel with their own transport.
