Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Support Workers and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to children.
  • Complete daily staffing allocations and promote the ethos and values of New Forest Care Ltd.
  • Carry out the duties of a Support Worker to an exemplary standard.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of children.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and educators, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children.

Requirements

  • At least two years' experience in a residential childcare setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and committed to being a positive role model.
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviors.
  • Flexible and able to work a residential care rota, including evening, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.
