Lead the Commercial Property Department at Search

A highly reputable firm, Search, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Property lawyer with around 8+ years of post-qualification experience to lead the commercial property department in one of their offices in Kent.

The firm values the loyalty of their clients and the longstanding relationships they have built. As a leader, you will be expected to possess the necessary skills to continue working with existing clients, ensuring they receive high-quality service, while also taking an active role in acquiring new business.

The role involves leading a team of lawyers who provide services in relation to sales and purchases, mortgages, leases, tenancies, and licenses. You will be technical strong and have a flair for developing the careers of those more junior than yourself.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the commercial property department and supervise a team of lawyers.
  • Have experience in all areas of commercial property work, including sales and purchases, mortgages, leases, tenancies, and licenses.
  • Develop the careers of junior lawyers and ensure they have the necessary skills to progress to a level where they can confidently supervise others.
  • Have a strong work ethic and be prepared to work as an integral part of the team.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
