We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Ltd. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and repair electrical faults, isolating defective equipment from power supply and conducting thorough visual inspections.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, replacing worn and defective parts to prevent breakdowns.
- Install electrical systems and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Participate in the on-call system, responding to electrical emergencies and taking corrective action to resolve issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience with electrical systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites.
- A competitive salary range of £16-£18 per hour, depending on experience.
