Deputy Dispensary Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Dispensary Manager to join our pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care and ensuring the safe and efficient supply of medication to patients through our dispensary.
Key Responsibilities- Line manage and support the development and training of members of the team by completing regular appraisals and setting achievable targets.
- Carry out accuracy checking of prescriptions which are sent to both internal and external wards following our labelling guidelines and SOPs.
- Participate in mandatory e-learning necessary for the role.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
