We are partnering with a leading global law firm to find an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their London team.

As an Employment Lawyer, you will provide strategic legal advice to the firm on employment risks and remedies, and all aspects of the employment life cycle and cross-border employment matters in the jurisdictions in which the firm operates (Europe, Middle East & Asia).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on international employment-related legal documents
  • Support investigations of employment-related claims by developing investigation plans, drafting interview outlines, interviewing witnesses, reviewing relevant files, summarizing evidence, and writing investigation reports
  • Advising on and overseeing employment law-related compliance matters and responses to audits and legal information requests by regulatory authorities
  • Support the Office of General Counsel, COLP, and Human Resources Department in other legal matters as requested

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales, with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in employment law, preferably in a large law firm or in-house legal department
  • Fluent in English, and proficiency in another language is an asset
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with unfailing attention to detail and accuracy
