Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Borders Specialist Dementia Unit.

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals living with dementia who require specialist hospital care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of SVQ Level 2 in health or social care and be passionate about delivering patient-centered care.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 in health or social care
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in dementia care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £24,907 - £30,451 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive ongoing training and development opportunities and a supportive and inclusive work environment.
