Job Description

In this role, you will use the latest technologies to deliver scalable, quality cloud and high-performance web applications to support the business in its Digital Strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and implement front-end interfaces using Angular and HTML.
  2. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code and develop and maintain server-side logic using .NET.
  3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  5. Determine the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and deliver application modules in line with the delivery profile and architecture laid down by the Head of Technology.
  6. Ensure coding is conducted to best practice guidelines to ensure a high-quality application suite is built and can be maintained.
  7. Contribute to discussions on our technology stack, processes, and systems architecture.

What We're Looking For

  1. You have demonstrable experience using .NET (C#) in a commercial environment.
  2. You have experience working with Agile methodologies.
  3. You hold a college certificate or honours degree in an IT or communications subject.
  4. You have rigorous attention to detail, are self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative.
  5. You can present technical information to a wider audience, communicate issues and status updates to management in a concise manner.
  6. You're passionate about supporting local communities and are eager to get involved in our initiatives.

Desirable Skills

  1. You have a thorough understanding of Angular and its core principles.
  2. You have experience of creating and managing mobile applications in a commercial environment.
  3. You have knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms such as JSOM Web Tokens.

  1. A salary between £38,000 - £41,000.
  2. An annual discretionary bonus scheme.
