This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our specialist psychology service, providing clinical supervision, training, and consultancy to support the development of our staff and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to trainee psychologists, multidisciplinary clinicians, and staff within the designated clinical area.
  • Take responsibility for the management of a specialist caseload, ensuring high-quality care and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement psychology teaching, training, consultancy, and supervision activities within a governance structure.
  • Contribute to audit and research initiatives relevant to the service area, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
Requirements

This role requires a strong background in clinical psychology, with a proven track record of leadership and management experience. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist with NHS Scotland, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our specialist psychology service and support the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
