Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Moxi Recruitment. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences, promoting positive behavior, and supporting the reintegration of students back into mainstream schools. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective lesson plans, ensuring that all students make good or better progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in low-attaining groups
  • Plan and teach lessons that promote the development of abilities and aptitudes of all students
  • Differentiate and personalize planning and teaching to ensure the achievement of all learners
  • Maintain high levels of behavior using positive intervention strategies
  • Work in partnership with additional adults to support student learning
  • Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students
  • Liaise with the Line Manager/Mentor to ensure the implementation of the school's pastoral system
  • Contribute to the preparation of Individual plans and/or behavior support plans
  • Alert appropriate staff to any problems experienced by students
  • Communicate with parents/carers of students outside of the school
  • Operate within the stated policies and practices of the school
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of good practice in teaching techniques
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of supporting young people within a learning environment
  • Ability to engage with learners
  • GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
