Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Care Assistant Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rates - from £11.44 to £14 per hour, plus double pay bank holiday rates from £22 per hour

Care Assistant Responsibilities:

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing companionship, support, and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity. Your duties may include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

  • A driving license and vehicle to use for work
  • A passion for Care to change the lives of others
