Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interim Headteacher to lead a small Specialist Provision. The setting needs a transformative leader to take the school through a critical period of growth. This is a unique challenge to make a lasting difference by implementing strategic changes and tackling areas for development.

The school is dedicated to providing tailored support for young people with complex SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience as a Headteacher and experience in SEN/SEMH settings or Alternative Provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising standards – Develop and implement strategies to improve teaching and learning across the school.
  • Inspire, empower and upskill staff – Lead by example and promote a culture of high expectations.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of a tailored curriculum – Meeting the diverse needs of learners.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience as a Headteacher.
  • Applicants must have experience in SEN/SEMH settings or Alternative Provisions.
