As a key member of our dynamic team, we are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join us. This role involves working on a rotating shift pattern, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety standards, and conducting planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery used in the manufacture of building products.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting both planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery used in the manufacture of building products.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards.
  • Working across various plant equipment on-site, addressing both planned and reactive maintenance needs.
  • Accurately recording maintenance activities within the site CMMS system.
  • Operating in a largely self-directed capacity while maintaining clear communication and teamwork.
Requirements
  • A manufacturing background is preferred.
  • A recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with automation control systems, including maintenance and replacement of motors, inverter drives, and contactors.
  • 17th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Fault-finding expertise.
  • PLC programming skills, particularly Siemens S5 and S7 (desirable but not essential).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
