We are seeking a skilled SEO Technical Manager to join our team at Assembly. This role will play a pivotal part in driving the SEO performance of our luxury fashion business.

The ideal candidate will have a background in web development or a passion for the technical intricacies of SEO. They will work closely with our in-house dev team to implement strategies that redefine industry standards.

  • Provide technical SEO consultancy to clients and adapt recommendations to their specific platforms.
  • Undertake in-depth audits of client websites to discover opportunities for optimization and improve their 'health'.
  • Advise clients on accessibility, indexability, content management systems, information architecture, site speed, and usability.
  • Build business cases to support clients in prioritizing SEO fixes within development sprints.
  • Give clear and specific direction to clients' development teams, interacting with them on ticket management systems such as Jira.
  • Review and test tickets implementation.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to agreed deadlines and client business requirements.
  • Assist the SEO Director in the preparation and delivery of pitches to existing and prospective clients.

The successful candidate will have experience managing large, complex SEO accounts across different verticals. They will have excellent knowledge and understanding of technical SEO, including working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

They will also have good knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript is required, as well as proficiency in Looker Studio/Tableau and data visualization tools.
