Career Makers Recruitment is a leading provider of bespoke products for Medical, Defence and Telecommunications industries. Our client based in Newton Abbot is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a CNC Operator/Setter and be happy working in a production environment with the ability to multitask. They will also have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate common sense and initiative. The salary for this role is estimated at £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays. As a hardworking and flexible individual, you will thrive in our fast-paced machine shop environment, where no two days are ever the same.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Proven experience of operating and setting CNC Lathe machinery for both large and small batch work.
  • Knowledge of working with various materials.
  • Ideal experience on a 2 axis CNC lathes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and functions.
