Job Title: Apprentice Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Construction Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading assigned projects to completion, liaising with client stakeholders and operational teams, and refining the project budget as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead assigned projects to completion, ensuring timely and fiscal responsibility.
  2. Liaise with client stakeholders and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Refine the project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility.
  4. Resolve client and vendor concerns in a timely and respectful fashion, maintaining a positive company image and providing unrivalled services.
  5. Assign, schedule, and communicate job expectations to team members.
  6. Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, and coordinating internal activities and subcontractor actions.
  7. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements and liaising with necessary teams to schedule expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  8. Support the site team in achieving project deliverables.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Holds a recognised project management qualification such as PMI PMP, APM PMQ, or equivalents.
  3. 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  4. Previous management experience with process improvement, planning, performance management, and tracking budget expenses and report generation.
  5. Working knowledge of EHS regulations in project location.
