Join Our Team as a Catering Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant at Sparsholt College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve beverages to order
  • Work in a food outlet within the college, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Cook and prepare food to a high standard
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store and surrounding areas
  • Clean and maintain the front and back of house areas
  • Operate the till and handle cash transactions
  • Perform dishwasher duties and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but full training will be provided
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic, with a focus on delivering high-quality service
  • A team player who is flexible and adaptable
  • DBS clearance required

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44
  • A part-time schedule of 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm (term-time only)
