We are seeking a highly skilled Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate a lifting double deck with tail lifts
- Collect backloads
- Load and unload cages of stock
- Make airlock deliveries, operating store alarms as deliveries are made when stores are closed
- Work independently to deliver goods to customers
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Work well under pressure and to deadlines
- Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual
- Have good geographical knowledge
- Be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
- Competitive salary from £47,341pa and more, depending on hours worked
- Hours of work are from 01:00hrs – 04:00hrs, working on a 5on 3off rota including weekends
