We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Isle of Wight, a category B male training prison. As a member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements, making timely decisions regarding future management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescribing for patients, regularly reviewing medications and monitoring repeat prescriptions
  • Providing a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with
  • Active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities, including diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate in line with guidelines and pathways

Requirements:
