About the Job:

We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused individual to manage health, safety, and facilities across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high levels of performance through effective management of hard and soft services.
  • Conducting regular contract meetings with suppliers and assessing their performance.
  • Procuring goods and services in line with departmental procedures.
  • Validating invoices and monitoring expenditure.
  • Conducting regular property inspections and reporting on health and safety, property condition, and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Membership of BIFM and/or IOSH at the appropriate level (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation
  • Good understanding of Facilities Management and Managing Agent responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant relationships in commercial property
