We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Control Specialist to join our team at Qube Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring that all QS duties are performed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Pre-contract: Assist in the preparation of tender documents and negotiate sub-contract packages.">
  3. Procurement: Chair sub-contract interview meetings and draft sub-contract orders.">
  4. Main Contract: Prepare and submit alternative proposals for material and specifications to clients for approval.">
  5. Sub-Contract: Negotiate interim valuations and final accounts with sub-contractors.">
  6. Financial: Use the company cost system to manage project finances and ensure full profit and loss accountability.">

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial field, good data interrogation skills, and experience of Management Accounts. A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience.
