Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a confident and proactive graduate with a good understanding of child mental health to work as a teaching assistant in our partner schools.
As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis during the school day, supporting children with identified behaviour, SEMH, and SEN needs, including ASD. You will work closely with the school's SENCO and senior management team, as well as outside agencies, to provide tailored support to each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1 to 1 support to pupils with SEMH and SEN needs
- Work with pupils in the classroom, specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times
- Develop and implement individualised support plans for each child
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO and senior management team to ensure effective support
Requirements:
- Psychology graduate with experience in CAMHS or child mental health services
- Passionate about supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs
- Ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and outside agencies
