About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our successful Merchandising team at DCK Group in our Billericay office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Buying, Design, and Host teams to define and develop the vision and strategy of the brand.
  • Manage critical path timelines and key milestone deadlines to ensure they are achieved.
  • Drive the development of Building Blocks and Strategy for the department forward with a profitability focus.
  • Continuously review the P&L for the department and action discussions to highlight the full potential of your brand.
  • Use analytics to propose solutions and establish clear and profitable Assortment Plans.
  • Sign off strategy and budgets with the Senior team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely pre-season planning based on the strategy and agreed targets.
  • Quantify Building Blocks through data and articulate them to the business.
  • Complete Seasonal Planning, including Assortment Planning/Option Planning and Range Planning.
  • Maximise Space/Options at all times and manage the Seasonal OTB.
  • Set Stock requirements to achieve sales and profit plans.
  • Undertake accurate in-season forecasting and review OTB/OTC requirements.
  • Highlight margin risks to the business and suggest actions to bring back to plan.
  • Gather information from hosts and identify opportunities using analytics.
  • Manage the team, ensuring clear priorities and consistent ways of working.
  • Coach and guide team members, providing clear and transparent feedback.
  • Lead by example and display behaviours aligned to DCK's DNA values.
