Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join our team at PPM Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field. City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection and Testing. NVQ Level 3. Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting. Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
