Job Opportunity

EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our client's team in a primary school setting. As a Creative Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay, and Down Syndrome.
  • Assist with classroom management, implement interventions, and deliver tailored programs to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with the inclusion team to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to engage pupils and promote their educational and personal growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A passion for education and creating an inspiring environment that fosters pupil development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and support staff.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in SEN support and EYFS education.
