About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Social Work Professional to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. In this role, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to support vulnerable children and families in achieving positive outcomes.
As a key member of our social work team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with children and families, and contribute to our council's mission to provide high-quality social work services.
About You
- You must hold a Social Work degree or equivalent specialising in children's services, and be registered with Social Work England or expect registration in 2024.
- Possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Have experience working with children and families, and knowledge of childcare legislation and LSCB procedures.
- Awareness of cultural backgrounds and equal opportunity principles in practice.
- Proficient in IT, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and database applications.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £41,373 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) with a Market Premium of £3,283, as well as opportunities for career development and professional growth.
