Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Neighbourhood Officer to join our team at Together Housing. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tenancy management services and providing excellent customer care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage properties in various areas within Calderdale, balancing time between field work and home-based tasks.
  • Provide advice and assistance to residents on housing matters, including legal rights and responsibilities.
  • Conduct property viewings and lettings in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Enforce the Association's conditions of tenancy, particularly in relation to property condition and garden maintenance.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and meet performance objectives.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to a car.
  • Experience in housing or lettings, preferably in social housing.
  • Proven ability to deal with the public, manage sensitive situations, and handle confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong track record of working with diverse customers.
  • Self-motivation, solution-focused approach, and personal resilience to manage a fast-paced role.
