Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Community Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our team at Atlantis Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with neurological conditions in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients with neurological conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions in community settings, including patients' homes and care homes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with patients with neurological conditions, such as stroke, head injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and progressive conditions.
  • Proven experience in rehabilitation and managing long-term conditions.
  • Experience working in community-based settings and with adults and older adults.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • EMIS training and possession of an NHS SMART card.
  • Flexibility to see patients in various community settings and adapt to changing priorities.
