Job Description:

Blue Arrow Bristol is seeking Class 1 Drivers to work for a leading logistics company based in Portbury, Bristol. The role involves driving a curtain-sided lorry and completing between 1-6 palletised deliveries with minimal handballing. You will be delivering flat-packed kitchens.

Shifts will be between 8-13 hours long, with start times at 6am. The positions are temporary ongoing, with opportunities for permanent contracts for the right candidates. All candidates will need to complete an assessment and training, which is paid for and takes approximately 4 hours.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is necessary, even if it's just for 3-4 months.
• Valid UK C+E licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho cards are required.
• No more than 6 points for minor offences are allowed.
• Working knowledge of WTD and highway code is necessary.
• Good geographical knowledge is required.
• Good level of spoken and written English is essential.

Pay Rates:

• £17 per hour
• £20 for weekends (although weekend work is rare)
