Job Title: Instrumentation Specialist

Technical Staffing Resources is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to work on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing documentation, specifying and ordering instrumentation, cables, and equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality documentation, including General Arrangement drawings, Electrical Detail Drawings, and Loop drawings.
  • Specify and order instrumentation, cables, and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
  • Strong background in engineering design and instrumentation.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/V&M).
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
  • Offshore certification is an advantage.
