This is a key position within the local community, where you will play a vital role in helping adults develop their skills, knowledge, and gain qualifications. You will also encourage them to take an active part in their learning and programme plan, which can be truly life-changing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans for your relevant subject area on a regular basis.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept up to date and work is assessed appropriately.
  • Liaise with Community Learning Development Workers to participate in continuing professional development activities, including training sessions and support meetings.
  • Utilize a wide range of teaching methods and behaviour management strategies to maximize learning in the class.
  • Provide information and guidance to learners when required, and help signpost them to other resources.
