Childcare Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Twinnie Day Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for our young children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Programme Development: Contribute to the creation of a planned programme of activities tailored to the age range of our children, in collaboration with other staff members.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of key children's progress via our nursery app and note journal, as necessary.
- Integration Support: Work closely with parents and carers of children with special needs to ensure seamless integration within our setting.
- Staff Support: Collaborate with all staff to uphold high standards within the nursery, adhering to our policies and procedures.
- Safeguarding: Strive to safeguard children by adhering to our organisation's safeguarding Code of Conduct.
- Communication: Liaise with parents, carers, and other family members to ensure effective communication and support.
- Professional Development: Attend all out-of-hours activities, including training, staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other events.
- Qualifications: Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification that is full and relevant.
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a day nursery setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance, with the ability to implement high-quality learning opportunities.
- Empathy and Understanding: Show empathy and understanding of children aged 0-5.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and communication skills when interacting with children and parents.
- Organisational Skills: Demonstrate ability to write reports and maintain clear, accurate records.
- Teamwork: Show ability to work as part of a team and work independently when necessary.
