**Role Overview**

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is dedicated to providing support for vulnerable adolescents and their families. We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Specialist Adolescent Service Hub (SASH) team.

About the Role:

As a Social Worker in the SASH team, you will conduct assessments for adolescents at risk of harm or homelessness, develop collaborative care plans with families and professionals, safeguard adolescents from exploitation, abuse, or criminal activity, provide tailored support for adolescents in the youth justice system, and coordinate services to enhance wellbeing and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify adolescents' needs and develop effective support plans.
  2. Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure adolescents receive appropriate care and support.
  3. Safeguard adolescents from harm and promote their overall wellbeing.
  4. Provide individualized support to adolescents in the youth justice system.
  5. Coordinate services to enhance adolescents' resilience and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in statutory social work, ideally with adolescents.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and social work practice.
  • UK driving licence and vehicle (preferred).
