About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted Outstanding special needs school in Winsford. The successful candidate will provide tailored 1:1 support to an individual student, assisting them in accessing their learning and promoting their personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to a student with moderate learning difficulties, helping them to access their learning and achieve their best possible outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with the student, fostering trust, confidence, and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver personalised strategies that support the student's needs.
  • Help the student to engage positively in school life and achieve their academic, social, and personal goals.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working with children, preferably in a special educational needs setting. A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with students is essential. The successful candidate will be able to commit to full-time hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm) and be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
