Job Title: CNC Setter

Join a dynamic team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited as a CNC Setter. We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team in a CNC Setter role.

About the Role:

We are looking for a CNC Setter to join our team in a CNC machine shop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines, as well as reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately and competently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines using set up sheets and NC program data supplied by the engineering CAM programmers.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately and competently.
  • Use all types of measuring equipment associated with precision engineering.
  • Monitor NC programs during production and give feedback to the CAM programmers regarding any issues or improvements with the NC programs/ setup.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3 years proven practical experience in a setting role within a tool room / CNC machine shop environment and be able to demonstrate complete understanding of all aspects of setting and operation of CNC milling machines.
