Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Clays Venues. As a Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for the operational success of our kitchen, ensuring that we deliver high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. You'll work closely with our Head Chef to develop and implement menus, manage kitchen staff, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Implement Clays Venues' standard operating procedures for kitchen colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
