Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a well-equipped Resource Hub of a 'OFSTED' rated good primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the needs of students with SEND.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to the school's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students with SEND.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND and SEMH.
  • Ability to work calmly and patiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
