About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Learning Disabilities team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver occupation-focused assessments and interventions.

Main Responsibilities
  • To manage a clinical caseload of service users with learning disabilities, working independently and without direct supervision.
  • To provide occupation-focused assessment and intervention(s) that promote service users' independence and well-being.
  • To contribute to and carry out risk assessments, risk management plans, crisis plans, and care plans to ensure clinical safety.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and trust standards.
  • To supervise support workers and occupational therapy students as required.
  • To work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development and research/audit activities.
