About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Steward Lead. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for supervising services within the Mess, ensuring the effective supervision and performance of front-line colleagues, and assisting with function preparation as directed by the Mess Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise services within the Mess, ensuring high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Accountability for the effective supervision and performance of front-line colleagues within the Mess.
  • Assist with function preparation, including silver cleaning, dining room layout, and other tasks as directed by the Mess Manager.
  • Complete company paperwork, including cash handling and till operation.
  • Order and manage stock, ensuring efficient stock rotation.
Requirements
  • A DBS check will be required to complete the application process.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety and food safety requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is desirable.
