Job Title: Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our dynamic Rental warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative.

Responsibilities
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries and returns, checking and counting cable stock.
  • Stock management, including counting, organizing, and replenishing stock levels to maintain high workshop efficiencies.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Operating warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts) – training will be provided if necessary.
  • Booking equipment in and out of the depot, checking for any damage and ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required by the business.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
  • Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment with critical time frames.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible shifts and weekends.
  • A basic understanding of electrical products would be an advantage.
