Veterinary Specialist

We are seeking a professional and friendly Veterinarian to join our team in Dover. As a Portal Official Veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable guidance on imported products of animal origin (POAOs) and supporting Border Control Officials and Dover Portal Health Team with the biosecurity measures to stop the entrance of illegal POAO into the country.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide guidance on POAOs and support the Dover Portal Health Team with biosecurity measures
What We Offer
• Competitive remuneration package starting at a minimum of £46,000 (DOE)
• Opportunities for salary growth based on your experience and commitment

• 40 hours over a 7-day rota, with the availability of overtime and unsocial hour premium
Requirements
• RCVS certification
• Fluency in English
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
