Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Temporary Accommodation Administrator to join our team at Redditch Borough Council. As a Temporary Accommodation Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the homelessness and temporary accommodation teams, ensuring the effective provision of statutory nightly accommodation for homeless households.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the administration of the temporary accommodation system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of applications and allocations.
- Collaborate with the homelessness and temporary accommodation teams to develop and implement strategies for effective accommodation provision.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, housing, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working in a similar administrative role, preferably in a local authority or related sector.
