- Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
- Manage and maintain a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a senior residential care role, preferably in a Children's Residential Service.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
