We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician to join our team at Isles of Scilly Travel. This is a hands-on engineering role that involves assisting with B1 aircraft maintenance, including routine and non-routine checks on DHC6 Twin Otter and BN2 Islander aircraft.
About the Role:This position requires a strong background in B1 part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineering or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with airframe, engine, and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:- Routine and non-routine maintenance of DHC6 Twin Otter and BN2 Islander aircraft.
- Carrying out 50/100/200/annual inspections and defect rectification on airframes and engines under supervision.
The successful candidate will be working on a rotating shift pattern, which includes both day and night shifts. A competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.
